BCA-USA Youth Wing

Empowering the Next Generation of Bali

The BCA-USA Youth Wing is the national youth arm of the Bali Cultural Association USA (BCA-USA), created to provide a platform where young people of Bali Nyonga heritage can connect, grow, contribute, and help shape the future of our community. The Constitution establishes one National Youth Wing, with branches that may be created in cities, states, and regions where Bali youth wish to organize.

Purpose

  • Strengthen cultural awareness and build a strong cultural identity among Bali Nyonga youth.

  • Serve as the voice of youth and provide opportunities for youth input on issues affecting young people and the wider community.

  • Advance communication and connection among Bali youth across the United States.

  • Mobilize youth, community members, and organizations around goals established by BCA-USA.

  • Work with BCA-USA in planning and coordinating conferences, programs, and youth-related activities.

Who We Serve

Membership is open to persons of Bali Nyonga heritage between the ages of 14 and 25. Youth Chapters may be established in cities, states, or regions where Bali youth wish to organize.

Youth Leadership

The Youth Wing Executive Office includes the President, Vice President, Secretary General, Treasurer/Financial Secretary, Publicity Secretary, and Youth Chapter Presidents. The Constitution provides for Youth Wing representation in both the National Executive Committee (NEC) and Board of Directors (BOD), ensuring that youth perspectives have a place within BCA-USA national leadership. Officers serve two-year terms, with no officer serving more than two consecutive terms in the same office.

A Platform for Leadership & Service

The Youth Wing is more than a social organization—it is a pathway for young people to develop leadership, participate in community life, preserve our heritage, and contribute to the future of Bali Nyonga. Youth members are encouraged to participate in BCA-USA activities and bring their ideas, talents, energy, and perspectives to the Association.

Vision for the Future

We envision a generation of engaged, connected, culturally grounded, and service-oriented Bali youth who are prepared to carry our heritage forward while contributing meaningfully to the future of our community.
