Bali Cultural Association
Welcome to the website of the Bali Cultural Association in the United States of America (BCA-USA). BCA-USA is a non-governmental, non-profit organization representing the interests of the Chamba People of Cameroon, West/Central Africa. The organization was created and launched in 1988 in Atlanta, Georgia, as a forum dedicated to promoting the social, educational, and cultural well-being of the Bali people in the Diaspora.
The Bali Chamba is a clan of semi-bantoid origin which migrated from Chamba around River Faro in the Nigeria-Cameroon border and settled in the Benue plain in the 17th Century.Today, the Chamba people can be found in both Nigeria and Cameroon. The Chamba in Cameroon are located in the North West Region of Cameroon. They are divided into five subsets: Bali-Nyonga and Bali Gham (located in Mezam Divison), Bali Kumbat, Bali-Gangsin, and Bali-Gasho (located in Ngoh-Kehtungia Division).
